I am very excited to be participating in my very first reading challenge!  And a reading challenge about the Brontes sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?  I’m very much looking forward to rereading some of my favorite books and finding some new ones to enjoy!!!  If you are interested in participating in this challenge, don’t worry, it’s not too late!  Click HERE to view The All About the Brontes Challenge Page @ Laura’ Reviews.

My All About the Brontes List:

Right now, I only have these six items on my list.  I should be able to get through all six by June 30th (especially since I couldn’t hold out and started reading The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte last week!!!)  I would love to receive recommendations or suggestions, if you have any!!!

I will be sure to post my reviews here and update you on my progress!

  1. Great books to read! Have fun with it.
I would recommend to read Jane Eyre, but it’s already on the list. 🙂
Can’t wait to read your reviews.

  2. Thanks for stopping by Nina! I am very much looking forward to reading Jane Eyre, it is one of my favorites!!!

Maria, thank you so much for sharing your list with me! I was thinking about adding “The Tenant of Wildfell Hall” to my list and after reading your review I think I will make it my fifth item! I am looking forward to your reviews and am now a follower on your lovely blog!

  3. I’ll be interested in hearing about how you like Charlotte’s Secret Diaries. I found it intensely irritating, and abandoned it, but I think I might be in the minority on this.

Emma Brown sounds v. intriguing–I’ll be looking forward to your review.

  4. I love Jane Eyre. It’s just amazing. I didn’t really care for the novel about Adele..I just couldn’t get into the precept. The tenant of Wildfell Hall is a bit sad and depressive but not at all as bad as Wuthering Heights. I enjoyed the movie version of “The tenant of Wildfell Hall” perhaps that’s because Toby Stephens was in it. I have 5 versions of Jane Eyre in movie form and several of the books. I carry them with me when I travel. The “Secret Diaries” sounds good.,
