Readers’ Choice Vote + Giveaway!!!

Hi friends!  2022 went fast, didn’t it?! 💨

I hope it proved to be a better year for you all than the previous two! 🥰

And while I’m not even remotely ready to think about 2023 yet, I know my first post for the year will be sharing a list of my favorite books I read in 2022. It is one of my favorite posts to create. I love reflecting on all the lovely books I’ve read over the year, and recognizing some that were truly exceptional. 🤩

As you might have seen in years past, I’ve had some fun each year making these lists of favorites and having some lovely graphics made that look like pretty awards.🏅

And in the past few years I’ve asked for readers of Austenesque Reviews to help me out by selecting their favorites as well!

I love seeing what YOUR favorites are and sharing your perspectives – not just my own! It helps me decide which books need to be moved from wishlist to my TBR pile, and I love spotlighting the marvelous books that readers most loved each year.

Here are the Readers’ Choice Favorites from 2021!

(don’t vote for these books in 2022! 😜)

And so, I’m asking you once again to tell me what are YOUR favorite new releases you read this year. 🫶🏼

Could you help me recognize some fantastic Austenesque books that were published this year?

All you have to do is fill out the form below!

  • You can pick up to 10 favorites (picking 3 is ludicrous, right!)
  • Remember in order for your vote to count the book has to have been released in 2022.
  • If you need help remembering which books came out in 2022, check out these lists!

~ GIVEAWAY TIME ~

After voting, leave a comment here telling me that you voted (you don’t have to say what you voted for, the voting is anonymous!) and you will be entered in a drawing to win 1️⃣ of the Readers’ Choice Favorites in their choice of format!

We won’t know what the options are until the votes are tallied and shared! But the prize is also winner’s choice!

  • This giveaway is open internationally.
  • This giveaway ends December 31st.
I’d love to have as many voices as possible share their favorites! 🗳
If you feel like sharing this post around the interwebs, I’d be so grateful! 🤗

  1. I think all my choices were 2022 . I’m sure I’ve forgotten some favourites but hopefully not too many. Can’t wait to see your list.

  2. I voted, and it was a lot of fun to look back through the books published in 2022. So many great books! My initial list had 20 favorites, and it was difficult to pick the top ten for my votes.

  3. I voted! It might be interesting if you did a readers’ choice vote on our all time favorite Austen variations.

  4. Most of the JA variations I read this year were written before 2022. I really had to pick my brain to try and remember what I read until I came up with one 🙂

  5. Ok clearly 10 was NOT enough just looking through your monthly lists!!! I know there were so many others that I wanted to include but couldn’t decide on what ones to pull off. Plus I know there were lots of others that should be on the list after reading the reviews but I have not read them yet – sad for me but I hope to get through them soon, It is truly amazing on how many fantastic P&P variation books are released each year! Congratulations to each & every author even if I didn’t have a chance to read them yet.

  6. I don’t think it’s fair to all of the authors to make the deadline the 31st of December. There’s at least one book coming out between Christmas and New Year’s, and who has time to read then? Maybe you should make the deadline the end of January.

  7. SO MANY great JAFF books this year! The only shame is I haven’t read them all yet and so I’m sure a deserving story got left off my list…alas, the downside of too much of a good thing.

  8. enjoyed this but it made me think and it was hard to recall all the books I read …. the stories had started to blend in and I had to re-read some. Thank you for this opportunity.

  9. I voted when you first posted this but then this last week I read LL Diamond’s new release “An Endeavour to be Worthy” and that rocketed up on my best of the year list (but I had already voted and can’t change my vote). There are so many good books that top 10 was not enough!!!

  10. I voted following your lists so far. Left out many, many, many, as I’m sure you all did. The email that was included is not the one I usually use, but didn’t know how to change it.
Looking forward to reading the list at the beginning of next year!
Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2023 to all!

  11. I voted.

Does anybody know what’s up with Emily Russell’s “Accident at Pemberley” on Amazon? The ebook doesn’t seem to exist anymore. If you find the paperback and try to get to the ebook from there, it takes you to “An Encounter at Brighton”. Amazon support was unhelpful.

  12. As usual it was very difficult choosing just 10 !! books that were favorites, chopping down my original list was painful. In a few examples there were multiple amazing stories by the same authors published this year, that was tough. I haven’t been able to read all the greats published this year. That’s hard. We’ve had a really great year, haven’t we? Thank you JAFF authors for your wonderful gifts in 2022.

  13. There were a lot of books published this year, and it was a bit of a struggle to narrow down to 10. Unfortunately, there are probably some great ones that I haven’t gotten to yet, but that means I should have a great start to 2023. Thank you for compiling this list. It is always interesting to see what others really enjoyed.
