~ Now let’s celebrate! ~

I decided to celebrate Austenesque Reviews’s Blogiversary this year by putting together a little bookshelf tour. 📚

You’ve seen it in my photos and now you can see it up close and understand how my books are organized. 📗📕📘

The tour is broken up into three different videos.

You should be able to watch them without being on Instagram.

*apologies for the shakiness and unsteadiness (panning smoothly is hard!)

  1. Happy 13 years Meredith and here is to many more. Thank you so much for continuing to do this. I really look forward to your blogs.

  2. Happy Anniversary Meredith! Thank you for your wonderful reviews and for all you do on behalf of the JAFF community. Today is my birthday so I’m very happy that our “anniversaries” coincide!

  3. Happy anniversary! I’m so happy to have found you and your reviews! They are great and an amazing fount of JAFF that keeps my TBR list permanently unfinished.
If I could be so lucky, I’d love to have physically: Old Boots, Mr Darcy By Any Other Name and Mary and the Captain. Thank you!

  4. Happy Anniversary! What a beautiful way to celebrate the blog’s “Bat Mitzvah.” (Tee Hee)

Three of your titles which jump out (and shockingly I do not have in my collection) are: Dance the Tide, Georgiana Darcy, and Tempt Me. Love to have any of them… Wishing you another wonderful 13 years… and more!

  5. Your shelf tour was so much fun! Congratulations, dear Meredith, on your Blogiversary and THANK YOU – it’s such a gift to all of us!

  6. Wow, thirteen?!? Amazing, congratulations!!! You should be so proud of all the work you’ve put into this blog. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. ❤️

As for the giveaway, how cruel to make us choose favorites….Mr Darcy’s Mail-Order Bride; Pride, Prejudice and Other Flavors; and the first volume of Cat Gardiner’s Conscience series. Though, seriously, tough to narrow down.

  7. Happy Anniversary, Meredith! Can’t believe it’s been 13 years – you and I started our blogs around the same time and yours is still thriving. What an amazing accomplishment! I look forward to many more years of your lovely reviews and posts.

Three titles that are calling out to me that I don’t have are Tempt Me by Julie Cooper, Strong Objections to the Lady by Jayne Bamber, and Fallen by Jessie Lewis. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!

  8. Happy blogiversary!
I’m so in awe of your shelves!! You continue to inspire me with your dedication to all books austenesque and sharing with us!! Books I’d love: Blinded by Prejudice, Disenchanted, or whatever your most recent favorite is!

  9. Happy 13th blogiversary, Meredith! And what a lovely way of putting it… You HAVE been a part of our lives–at least my life–for all those years. Thanks for the time and effort you put into feeding our love of all things Austenesque. And what organized shelves you have, my dear! Lady Catherine would approve.

  10. Congratulations on reaching your teens!! I have been reading your posts for a while, and I found them very entertaining and informative.
I would love to have in my Kindle The Appearance of Goodness by Brenda Webb, Old Boots by Grace Gibson and Mr. Darcy’s Great Escape by Marsha Altman.

  11. Happy Anniversary!!! So many books! Love them all. But if there’s a chance to get 3, I would like:
    The houseguest
    Darcy’s Passions
    Nefarious

    Thanks!

  12. Congratulations and Happy Bar Mitzva LOL!
What a creative idea, I loved getting a peak at your *very* impressive collection!
Hmmm, A matter of Honor, Sketching Character, His uncle’s favorite.
    Thank you…
But seriously, that is a stunning library.

  13. Happy Anniversary, Meredith. Wow! Now THAT is what I call a bookshelf. Loved the tour. Thanks for sharing. Blessings on the next year of your blog.

  14. Happy 13th Blogiversary, Meredith!! Your bookshelves are amazing!! I watched the videos at least four times each, enjoying your incredible collection!!

    My three choices:
Impulse & Initiative by Abigail Reynolds
To Refine Like Silver by Jenna Elsworth (#1 choice)
The Price of Pride by Abigail Reynolds

I also wanted to highly recommend Maria Grace’s Jane Austen’s Dragons series if you haven’t read it already. I am rather partial because I was one of the proofreaders for a few of the earlier books in the series. I’m not a fan of fantasy (with the exception of Harry Potter and LOTR), but these books are so well-researched and soooo compelling. If you have already read them, then please ignore this recommendation. 😉

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂

  15. CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary!!! Pick three books??? Ya, right! There are too many good ones to choose from and I can’t get the pause button to work to see all the exact titles but saw so many authors & publishers that I so enjoy!
