Again, I must thank all you lovely friends and readers for your patience with me this last month.  I know I haven’t been around the blog as much as I would have liked to! And now I will tell you why…



Mr. Bingley had minor back surgery this past week, actually just 5 days ago.  This surgery was to help a herniated disc which was a result from a car accident we were in back in August 2014 (we got rear-ended by an Escalade.)  The herniated disc pinched a nerve and gave him constant pain and discomfort in his left leg ever since.


Since neither of us ever had surgery before, we tried many other remedies first – steroid packs, chiropractor treatments, cortisone shots…but to no avail.  They never gave any relief.  So we settled on surgery since we learned in was non-invasive and could be an out-patient procedure.  Which finally took place this past Wednesday. Darcy convinces Elizabeth they should marry, and she agrees…but for different reasons. There is a lot left unsaid, and both are under different impressions of what occurred that fateful night in Netherfield. When the truth comes out, how badly will it shake their budding relationship…?   • I enjoyed Letters from the Heart, a charming novella variation by Rose Fairbanks and wanted to see what she would do with a full-length novel.
  • I love premises that explore compromising situations and forced marriages!
  • It seems like Lady Catherine plays a prominent role in this variation, I always love to see what mischief and schemes she gets into!
