Hi readers!  I’m so excited to welcome author Pamela Lynne to Austenesque Reviews today! I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Pamela!  Her Pride and Prejudice variations are fabulous, and I adore her original characters – especially Sebastian!  Today Pamela Lynne is here to talk about her new Regency series! Woot!!  A whole new group of books with original characters!!  In her post you will learn about the three heroes that will be spotlighted in this new series!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much, Meredith, for hosting me again here at Austenesque Reviews. Today, I would like to introduce readers to the men of the Granville family. These men, and the women who love them, are at the heart of my upcoming release Surrendering the Past, and the subsequent books of the Granville Legacy Series.

These Granville men are from a proud Norman lineage and share the common fair traits of that heritage, except for the black sheep of the family—Captain Richard Granville. Richard has a reputation as a ruffian, the wild, ungrateful son of a powerful man. But who is he really, and to what lengths will he go to break the patterns of the past?

Duty, sacrifice, honor—they can all be damned to hell with Litchfield, your mother and father, and anyone else who expects you lay yourself upon the altar of obligation and convenience. I have spent most of my life running from that man and I will spend the rest of it keeping you safe from him, whether you like it or not.”

Happy Summer, everyone!  With daily temps in the 80s it feels like summer is officially here in North Carolina!

There are some other signs that summer is here…

1. I’m reading more outside!  During the summer I try to go to the beach every couple of days. I love the water, the sand, and the sun!  This year I’ve made it a goal to bring 20 different books to the beach this summer!  So far, I’ve brought 4! 😉

Family PortraitsA Riveting Sequel with Our Dearest Friends!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Source: Review Copy from Author

(Note: This is a sequel to Pamela Lynne’s Pride and Prejudice variation, Dearest Friends, and it is recommended you read that story prior to reading this one.)

In Dearest Friends, Pamela Lynne shows readers what happens when Darcy and Elizabeth lose the trust, friendship, and support of those closest to them. Darcy and Elizabeth are hurt badly by the betrayal and selfishness actions of those they love, but by chance become reacquainted in London and find friendship, compassion, and something infinitely more dear…true happiness and marital bliss!

And some of Darcy’s and Elizabeth’s friends and family members find happiness in marriage as well. But some do not. One couple is forced to go their separate ways (even though both are in love and wish to marry each other!) and another finds themselves living in an unhappy marriage filled with marital strife and misery. It is these two couples we spend the most time with in Family Portraits. But similar to Dearest Friends, this story includes a large cast with many subplots and switching of storylines. Both books are a rather encompassing and epic family saga! Continue reading »
