  1.

I am amazed with all the new releases. So much to read. It’s a smorgasbord of delights.

  2.

I’ve only read four, which is a slow month for me. I agree, Meredith. There’s a bunch of new authors out there.

Note: I owe a sincere thanks to the authors who have chosen to include in the subtitle the fact that their stories have explicit content. Since I don’t read them and hate it when I’m surprised or see something by accident, this saves me time, money, and embarrassment. Two thumbs up for them.

    •

I know you said it was a slow month, but good for you, Joy! That is more than I did! 😉

It is great that many authors are doing as you said, Joy. I know many readers don’t like to have that kind of unexpected surprise. It is very appreciated!

    •

I agree with you totally. I just couldn’t have said it as well.

  3.

Where did these all come from?! I haven’t heard of many of them but I have read one so far…’Understanding Elizabeth’ which was wonderful! I want to read Cat Gardiner’s novella and Shannon Winslow’s books, Jeanna Ellsworth’s, April Floyd’s, P.O. Dixon and might try a some of the ‘new authors’ to me. Thanks for the fabulous list yet again!

    •

LOL! That’s what I was thinking! So glad to hear you loved Understanding Elizabeth! I can’t wait to read it! 😉 Great choices, hope you get to read many!

  4.

Nice title and cover on Disturbing the Dust! There’s certainly a range of options in this list!

  5.

The Austen Addiction is added to my list. Once any of the books come with a ‘Persuasion’ tag, that’s me hooked. Great list Meredith.

    •

I look forward to seeing how you like that one, Teresa. A Thousand Letters is also Persuasion inspired but it looks to be modern-day.

  6.

Sorry got slightly confused there. Disturbing the Dust is the Persuasion themed one. Adding that as well.

  7.

Wow! Yes, a ton of new to mes as well. I think I see three that I’ll be reading in future, but I didn’t get any read yet.

Thanks for the list so see what all is available out there, Meredith.

  8.

I’m glad to know you’ll be reading soon “Leap of Hope ” and “Understanding Elizabeth “. Yes, February is a shorter month but it doesn’t mean less books! LOL 🙂

    •

Very true, Teresa! I’m looking forward to those two especially! I’ve loved much of what I read by both Shannon and Robin. 😀

  9.

Hope for Georgiana sounds good. Understanding Elizabeth has a great cover. None of the erotic or intimate ones for me. The Persuasion related one is always a possibility for me.

    •

I agree with you about both Hope for Georgiana and Understanding Elizabeth. 🙂 Hope you enjoy some good reading this month! 🙂

  10.

Lots of favorite authors to put on my wish list. Yay! Every month I’m amazed, why aren’t I used to this yet? I guess part of it is excitement and part of it is dismay.

At some time in a future blog I’d like to see a discussion opened up on the question of the appeal (or not) of the sensual-based titles popping up more and more frequently. Maybe this has been done before elsewhere and it’s ‘old hat.’ But I seem to have noticed quite an upswing in the numbers of this sub-genre. And several of your blog followers have commented on this briefly. Maybe that’s all that needs to be said.

  11.

What a list! And February was a short month!

  12.

Oh my! Thanks for another wonderful list, Meredith. So many books to look forward to!

  13.

Still catching up…have read a few: Understanding Elizabeth, Fates Entwined, A Vintage Valentine and Caroline. Impossible to keep up even with a small part of the publications. Thanks for all your hard work organizing and publishing these lists.

Your conversation and participation is always welcome, please feel free to "have your share."
