Ahhhh…I cannot be the only one who is alternately excited and depressed regarding these yearly sum-up lists, can I? :/ There are too many to read them all. The chief reason I rely on your blog, Meredith. It’s wonderful to have new books come out by my favorite authors, those are easy to choose, but there are so many I haven’t discovered yet, so your reviews really help. Plus, they’re just plain fun!

  2.

Thanks for another list, Meredith. Haven’t read any of these and have heard of maybe half a dozen, if I’m lucky. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll never, ever be able to keep up!

    •

My pleasure, Anji. I know it might be hard to recognize some of these just on title alone. But you are right, the books on this lists don’t seem to be as widely read in the blogsphere.

  3.

Oh man! Most of these are ones I didn’t know about. I’ve only read two of them and I’ve got three more on my wish list. Whew, makes me realize one can never read all the published Austenesque out there let alone just the ones based on P&P alone.

Amazing job putting the lists together, Meredith!

    •

You have me beat, I’ve read 0. I do have my eye on some that I hope will be published in paperback. 😉 This is definitely the biggest number for Pride and Prejudice stories I’ve seen yet!

  4.

Wow! That’s quite a list! I didn’t know Mary Simonsen had a new ebook out. Will have to go buy it. She’s one of my auto-download/MUST BUY authors.

  5.

that’s amazing and quite a catalog of works.

Meredith, I am just trying to read some of the many e-mailed blogs I have unopened and I love your lists. I read 275 books last year, mostly JAFF and then mostly P&P but I won’t even try to check off what I did or didn’t read from this list. Thank you for all the work you put into compiling these for us. I am sure that there are many good ones I missed.

Your conversation and participation is always welcome, please feel free to "have your share."
